Womens Fashion Week (SS2011): The Street Styles (Part 1) - The Scarf

Finally! Some street style inspirations for you guys. Saved these images awhile back and totally forgot about them. Here are some of the highlights from the Tommy Ton for GQ.com street styles shot in the cities of New York, London & Milan during the recent Spring/Summer 2011 Womenswear Fashion Week.

The scarf is such an easy piece to throw on and with the chilly weather during fashion week, it's a great duo-function versatile piece that not only keeps your neck warm but can also complement/accessorize your outfit.

Colours are my favourite as always. I'm kinda drawn to the metal chain piece that's attached to the lapel of the jacket (top pic), not exactly sure what that is but I'm thinking maybe a pocket watch? And how cute is that polka dot pocket square (bottom pic)?

Matchy-matchy.

There's just so many ways how a person can wear/tie the scarf and achieve multiple different looks in the end.

(Above) Great example of how to wear the scarf differently. Alternatively, you can wear it as a belt by simply looping it through the belt loops and end with a knot at the side. For the girls, wear it as a dress or top or turban just to name a few. The possibilities are endless.

And of course, anyone can look stylish, young and old alike.
